Club

The CLUB will...

• provide opportunities for ALL members to be involved in planning, leadership, evaluation and decision-making related to their activity.

• remember that members participate for their enjoyment and benefit. The CLUB will not over emphasise awards.

• ensure that everyone involved in sport emphasises fair play, and not winning at all costs.

• distribute a code of conduct to players and officials and encourage them to follow it.

• not tolerate bad language or behaviour from any member to any other player, coach, official or spectator at the club.

• respect the rights, dignity and worth of all people involved in the game, regardless of their gender, ability, or cultural background.

• The CLUB will promote and adhere to anti-doping policies.

Player

All CLUB PLAYERS will...

• always play by the rules of the game.

• never argue with an official.

• control their tempers and understand that verbal abuse and unsporting conduct in general are not acceptable.

• work equally hard for themselves and their team.

• be a good sport and applaud all good plays regardless of who makes them.

• treat all players in the sport as they themselves would like to be treated.

• cooperate with their coach(es) teammates and opponents.

• display modesty in victory and graciousness in defeat.

• display control, respect and professionalism to all involved with the sport and they will encourage others to do the same.

• not arrive at the venue intoxicated or drink alcohol at junior matches.

• respect the rights, dignity and worth of all people involved in the sport, regardless of their gender, ability or cultural background.

• thank their opposition and officials at the end of a game.

• comply with anti-doping policies.
